Loren Tonemah (Kiowa, Comanche, and Tuscarora) is the project manager for information technology and procurement at the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board. He has worked for the Health Board for just over nine years.
Loren plays music as a hobby and has been a part of nine CDs. He’s had the privilege of playing nationwide at various music festivals. He has also used music to connect with youth, on occasion, during summer programs in Arizona. He and his brother have been putting on Native American Christmas benefit concerts throughout the country, starting in Arizona 20 years ago; this will be the 11th year in Oklahoma.
Loren has a heart for not only Native youth, but Natives in general, and likes to interact with the Native community; these are the reasons why he enjoys working for the Health Board and the Oklahoma Area Tribal Epidemiology Center. Loren currently resides in Moore, Oklahoma with his wife of 10 years, Jennifer, and his two children: Noelle, seven years old, and Titus, five years old.
