Phyllis Pratt is the finance director for Southern Plains Tribal Health Board. This position is the finance gatekeeper for the Health Board’s financial activities. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern State University in 1989 and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2005. She has worked in the financial area since she graduated from Northeastern, starting in the hotel industry. From there, she worked for a non-profit ministry, then continued on her professional journey as a business office manager at an urban Indian clinic, and after that, on to the position she currently holds at the Health Board.
Phyllis is a member of the Choctaw Nation, but is also Pawnee. She has been married to her husband Mike for 22 years and they have three wonderful boys: Peyton, Jace, and Seth. Since her sons are involved in athletics, she spends her spare time at basketball or baseball games, supporting and cheering them on. When there are no sporting activities, she spends her spare time reading.
