Tracy Prather is the director for the Oklahoma Area Tribal Epidemiology Center, with the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board. Tracy provides oversight, direction, and leadership with the seven core functions defined within the Tribal Epidemiology Centers’ Code of Federal Regulations for tribes, communities, and staff in the Oklahoma Area. Tracy’s professional background includes over twenty-five years in hospital and clinical settings in cardiovascular services and as an ambulatory service and physician relations specialist with the Oklahoma Foundation for Medical Quality. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology and a master’s in healthcare administration. Tracy is a nationally registered radiologic technologist (RT) and a cardiovascular technologist (CVT). He works closely with many tribes in Oklahoma and with multiple grant projects across Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas. Tracy is honored to serve Native Americans.
