CEDAR is a clinical quality improvement framework being developed to strengthen prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and linkage to care for HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), viral hepatitis, and substance use within Indian Health Service, Tribal Health Programs, and Urban Indian Organizations (I/T/U).

Using a syndemic approach, CEDAR supports organizations in identifying gaps, strengthening clinical workflows, and improving access to integrated services. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary Advisory Panel, our team is actively developing and refining the framework and its supporting policies, procedures, templates, and resources. Once developed, CEDAR will support training and technical assistance to help organizations adapt and implement strategies based on their individual needs, priorities, and infrastructure.
